"Founded in 1876, The Comedic Explorers Club of Long Island City, West promotes the comedic exploration of land, sea, air, and space. This free open mic was established to give four full minutes of stage time to 15 people chosen randomly through e-mail and 5 walk-ins. However, there is a guaranteed spot to anyone who performs in character as a famous explorer. Begins this and every forthcoming Wednesday at 6:30pm. Bucket O' Buckets is a late night Wednesday open mic hosted by Rob Stern. Every comedian will get stage time as long as they show up before 11:30PM and get their name in the bucket. The mic ends at 1am and time is divided evenly between performers (up to five minutes).
